Paid RSVP by Thursday 9/13  to reserve your space and allow for kit production. A few early birds can enjoy added discounts!
An email with your ticket, info, and the location will be sent to ticketed attendees by  Friday 9/14.
You'll learn:
• How to infuse oils - right to the nitty gritty, with hands on how-to, whether working with fresh or dry plants for short or long durations, for your express purpose.
• When to use intermediary solvents or extra steps - and what the heck that means anyhow!
• How to choose your fats, or blends - If you’re using your oil as a marinade, for a tasty salad dressing or delightful drizzle, trying your hand at a lip balm, face oil or body moisturizer, or for an ingredient in your natural soap or lotion formula, the unique fatty acids and molecules of each oil and butter form the basis for your chosen infusion goals.
• What to infuse - Whether you're after dynamic flavor, nourishing phytonutrients, soothing healing care, therapeutic aroma or personal recreation, you’ll gain a working knowledge for preparing and using some of my favorite herbs and spices, ideal for any infusion purpose.
Your ticket includes lecture, a collaborative infusion demonstration and balm crafting at the cozy and magical Cottonwood Urban Farm. We provide the herbs and oil, tools, jars and labels. You’ll take home an infusion and balm, as well as guides and recipes to experiment with confidence!
Be prepared for silly anecdotes and plenty of laughter. I'm known in some circles as the Irreverent Herbalist and love a good pun, so consider yourselves fairly warned. 😀
You may choose to bring an apron to protect your clothing, oil gets messy! Otherwise, just bring a pen, notebook and yourself!
